Dr. Elsie Lobo

Dr. Elsie Lobo has a PhD in Systems, Families, and Couples and specializes in working with couples and families from a systemic perspective. Dr. Lobo has an interest in research and clinical work that aims at better understanding the systemic contexts that may constrain possibilities for healing and growth, and intervening both at the individual/family level and at the systemic level.

This includes working with larger systems to make mental health services affordable, accessible, and inclusive for all populations. Dr. Lobo’s professional affiliations include the College of Alberta Psychologists, the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta, and the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She enjoys embarking with students on their learning journey as they grow into ethical, aware, and effective clinicians.
